Getting into Blockchain
After attending the ETHSafari event, I have been truly energised about blockchain technology.
I had a conversation with a friend the other day, and we discussed the computer and internet revolution that occurred in the US in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.
That era transformed society, creating new jobs, new ways of learning, entertainment, and personal independence, making technology the engine of American economic growth.
I compare that era to the current era of blockchain technology. I am convinced that blockchain technology will create financial and economic abundance for societies, especially in developing countries.
Blockchain has many applications, but the one that excites me most is Decentralised Finance (DeFi), the technology transforming how people borrow, lend, and grow money.
DeFi is doing for money what the internet did for information, making it global, instant, and borderless. With one click, information became accessible to anyone, anywhere. With DeFi, financial access is following the same path.

This technology will help unlock financial freedom and abundance across developing countries; we need to take advantage of it.
